Enter Raffle to Win Exquisite Tiffany's Gifts at A Taste of Talent

Luxurious gifts from Tiffany’s will be raffled off at A Taste of Talent, northwestern New Jersey’s premier culinary fundraising event, on Monday, April 30^th.  The items range in value from $495 - $5,900; only 300 tickets will be available for purchase at a price of $50 each by calling Project Self-Sufficiency.  The event, held annually at Perona Farms, will feature samples of appetizers, entrees and desserts offered by chefs from more than 50 area restaurants.  The theme of this year’s event is “Dinner at Tiffany’s.” 

Project Self-Sufficiency Board member Dolores Fernandez and her husband, Jim, are serving as co-chairpersons of A Taste of Talent.  The couple donated the Tiffany’s items for the raffle which include a sterling silver Paloma olive leaf pendant on a 30” chain, $495 value; a sterling silver open knot key with diamond on a 24” oval link chain, $500 value; a diamond point lead crystal pitcher with six double old-fashioned glasses, $640 value; women’s leather tote in silver grey, $1,450 value; a pair of yellow gold and diamond Schlumberger Lynn earrings, $2,800 value; women’s East West stainless steel watch, $3,500 value; and a yellow gold and diamond infinity double cuff bracelet, $5,900 value.

“We are delighted to be able to offer these exceptional gifts from Tiffany’s at A Taste of Talent this year,” noted Deborah Berry-Toon, Executive Director of Project Self-Sufficiency.  “Funds raised by A Taste of Talent make it possible for Project Self-Sufficiency to provide the programs and services necessary for families in northwestern New Jersey to attain economic self-sufficiency.  The raffle offers an exciting opportunity for people to reach out and help their neighbors in need.”

A Taste of Talent benefits Project Self-Sufficiency, a local non-profit agency specializing in services for low-income families in Sussex, Morris, Hunterdon and Warren.  Sponsorships for the event range from $500 - $30,000; a limited number of individual tickets are available at a cost of $200.  Stations from 52 of the area’s finest restaurants will be placed throughout the entire Perona Farms facility, allowing patrons to meet and mingle with the chefs while sampling some of their most renowned dishes.  

“A Taste of Talent is a unique forum for those in attendance to be introduced to a variety of talented people and businesses in a relaxing yet energized environment,” commented Project Self-Sufficiency Board member Dolores Fernandez.  “It's a fun evening for all!”

Project Self-Sufficiency is celebrating its thirtieth year of improving the lives of low-income families residing in northwestern New Jersey.  The agency’s mission is to provide a broad spectrum of holistic, respectful, and comprehensive services enabling low-income single parents, teen parents, two-parent families, and displaced homemakers to improve their lives and the lives of their children through the achievement of personal and economic self-sufficiency and family stability.  Since 1986 Project Self-Sufficiency has served more than 25,000 families.
