Free Workplace Attire Available for Women

Women in need of clothes for a job interview or other workplace situations are invited to check out the Working Women’s Wardrobe at Project Self-Sufficiency.   New and gently-used dresses, skirts, blouses, jackets, shoes and accessories are available.   All items are free; patrons must be Project Self-Sufficiency participants. The Working Women’s Wardrobe is curated by longtime Project Self-Sufficiency supporters Jay and Judy Dunn whose background in retail and design has given the collection the feeling of a boutique.   Clothing is displayed on racks and rounders, according to style and size.   Shoes and accessories line the walls.   There is even a cozy dressing room for patrons to use to ensure a proper fit. “We get lots of personal satisfaction out of our participation here,” explains Judy.   “We’ve met a lot of clients as they come through the Working Women’s Wardrobe.   We see the difference between where they are when t...
