Holistic Fitness, a cooking demonstration by the registered dietician at Shop

offered by Sussex County Music Workshop students Amanda Nowell, Katherine
Schumacher and Tiffany Van Tassel under the direction of Margaret

“Sussex County continues to have a high
incidence of incurable breast cancer, so it is with great joy that we are able
to honor those women from our area who have survived this disease,” noted
Project Self-Sufficiency Executive Director Deborah Berry-Toon. “With survival, however, comes the need to
maintain well-being. This Survivorship
Celebration will instruct participants about following a healthy lifestyle,
including proper nutrition, exercise and stress relief techniques. We are grateful to all of the individuals
and organizations who have agreed to join in this special celebration of life.”
The Survivor Celebration is sponsored by Project Self-Sufficiency in
collaboration with partners Regional Cancer Care Associates, Sparta Cancer
Center, Sussex County Office of Public Health Nursing and the Sussex County New
Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection.
The Survivor Celebration is free and open to Sussex County breast cancer
survivors, but registration is required.
To register, call 973-940-3500.
